Negative space acrylic pour kiss and blow

Negative space acrylic  pour kiss and blow

Our class has been learning to do acrylic pouring. We have done two so far. This one is a negative space acrylic pour kiss and blow.

Stuff you need to make it:

  • Wooden board or canvases

  • Paint

  • Straws

  • Balloons

  • Cups

  • A flat surface to put it on.

How to do:

First we got a wooden board and painted it white so when we do the acrylic pour on it the paint doesn't soak into the wood we let the paint dry. After we let it dry we put a cup full of white paint on it and swirled it around, then we got a cup and and chose some colours, next we poured the paint onto the board once you pour all the paint onto the board you get a straw and blow the paint around the board leave same of the board white from the paint.  After you do that you blow up the balloon then you get the balloon and push it down on the paint or drag it through the paint that is called kisses after you do that you are done.

 Logic maths puzzle

Walt: learn to think outside the box.

Today for maths our teacher made make this maths puzzle thing. First we looked at the the one he made then we got into pairs, me and my twin sister summer went together. Then he handed out same A3 paper, then we got to work. first we had to fold it length ways then we had to cut two cuts on one side and do one  cut on the other side. Next we had to twist it around until we got it. Then we were done.                             can you work it out?                                                 Next time I think I want to try and work faster.

Cross hatching face

Cross Hatching picture and blog post.
Walt: draw cross hatching
 picture and good blog post
This is a cross hatching picture that
I did, it's supposed to look like a guy came
across a cave with a  face chiselled into stone.
Here's a link for the video
How to do:
First draw a cave, then draw a face and
a small person. Next draw the lines
across the face and in the cave. Then do all the cross
hatching on the face and in the cave.

Hope you like it, next time I think I’ll try to do better shading.
What sort of art do you like doing?
